TERMS AND CONDITIONS

General Sales and Delivery Terms – Mura Atelier

Before making a purchase, please read these terms carefully. These terms are binding unless otherwise agreed in writing. In these terms, Mura Atelier is referred to as the “supplier” and the purchaser as the “customer.”

By ordering any product from Mura Atelier through direct contact, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms. Customers are encouraged to review them regularly.

1. ORDER, OFFER, AND AGREEMENT

  • Products are ordered by contacting Mura Atelier directly.

  • After discussing your space and design preferences, Mura Atelier will provide a tailored proposal. Proposals are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.

  • Once the customer accepts the proposal, they receive an order confirmation with payment details (invoice).

  • The agreement is binding when Mura Atelier receives the customer’s approval in writing or electronically.

  • Any changes after production has started may incur additional fees.

2. PRICE AND PAYMENT

  • Prices are in Euros (EUR) and include VAT, unless otherwise stated.

  • Prices do not include shipping.

  • Payment is made via invoice within 5 business days, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Late payments accrue 3% default interest per commenced month, plus a 100 DKK administration fee per reminder.

  • Failure to pay within the agreed term may result in suspension of production or shipment.

  • Mura Atelier may charge for extra work if the customer requests more corrections than initially agreed.

  • Prices are valid on the order confirmation date; currency fluctuations may result in adjustments.

3. PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS AND CUSTOMIZATION

  • All wallcoverings are custom-made according to the specifications provided by the customer.

  • The customer is responsible for providing accurate measurements and all necessary information for production.

  • Errors in measurements or other details are the customer’s responsibility.

  • Colors in the finished product may vary by +/- 5% from digital images.

  • Complaints regarding dimensions or design are not accepted after order confirmation.

  • Justified complaints can only be considered before applying adhesive or placing the wallcovering on the wall.

  • Mura Atelier is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use or installation of the wallcovering.

4. DELIVERY

  • Products are packaged to prevent damage during transport.

  • The customer must inspect the shipment immediately and report any visible damage.

  • Delivery takes place within 14 days of order confirmation or within a timeframe agreed with the customer.

  • Risk of accidental incidents after delivery is borne by the customer.

  • The supplier selects the shipment method unless agreed otherwise.

5. ERRORS AND COMPLAINTS

  • Minor deviations from approved designs do not entitle the customer to discounts or refusal of delivery.

  • Returns are only accepted in case of defects.

  • Complaints must be submitted promptly, in writing, and include photos of the issue. Late complaints will not be considered.

  • Mura Atelier may remedy defects if possible within a reasonable timeframe.

6. CANCELLATION

  • Orders can be canceled only before production starts.

  • Once production begins, cancellation is no longer possible except for visible defects.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • All designs, images, and content are protected by copyright. Use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited without Mura Atelier’s permission.

8. PRIVACY

  • Mura Atelier collects personal data for order processing and retains it for at least five years to comply with accounting legislation.

  • Data is handled according to Mura Atelier’s privacy policy.

9. FORCE MAJEURE

  • Mura Atelier is not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond its control, including natural disasters, wars, pandemics, or other extraordinary events.

10. CUSTOMER RIGHTS AND DANISH LAW

  • The customer’s statutory rights under the Danish Sale of Goods Act remain unaffected by these terms.

  • Any disputes will first be attempted to resolve amicably. If not possible, Danish courts have exclusive jurisdiction under Danish law.

  • Mura Atelier may update these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or published on our website.
